![]() The problem is on my partner's computer, which is on the same LAN network, but he isn't the one hosting the servers.įor both maps the. I wanted to make sure both me and my partner can travel before adding more maps.ĮDIT: Both servers are ran from my computer, on which I play, and I can travel through cluster both with and without Hamachi. I currently run 2 servers in a cluster (The Island and Fjordur). ![]() I can follow a simple tutorial (kinda), but most of the terminology is alien to me and I don't know enough to feel comfortable with coming up with new solutions. Is there any way, any of you people heard about, that could let him travel through cluster? Or maybe someone has some experience with Horizon routers and can help me set up the DDNS? We don't want to rent a server as the prices are rather steep, taking currency conversion into account (neither of us gets paid in USD, GBP or euro). Being able to travel through maps is fun and all but I don't want to do it alone - we were supposed to play together, after all. He could join through local IP after disabling the program's firewall. Still, searching for a server via WAN through steam did not work. So he tried connecting through VPN (Windscribe). I tried to set up DDNS through NoIP as I read it could help, but - surprise, surprise - our shitty router does not have DDNS options (idk, maybe it has and I'm just technologically inept? That's also an answer). Unfortunately, the partner still can't do that from his PC. I managed to solve the problem by installing Microsoft Loopback Adapter - I can connect through servers via WAN and even travel through clustered maps with no problem. Unfortunately, getting a new server is out of question right now. I checked in the panel and there are no options for NAT. ![]() AFAIK this means that we do not have NAT loopback enabled on the server (we use UPC Horizon). Traveling through cluster was, of course, out of question. Neither Steam nor ARK saw the servers through WAN. From the start we could see the servers just fine in Steam, but only when connecting through local IP. Server is set up on the machine I'm playing on, he has his separate PC. We are both playing on the same network, connecting with the internet through the cable, as opposed to WiFi (not sure if that's relevant or not). ![]() And to be able to finally install OnlyOffice to NextCloud.I have been trying to set up the server cluster for me and my partner. Needs NAT Loopback feature (so that we'd be able to access our Nextcloud within the same network, using our domain. Needs to be mobile (As in, it needs to accept a sim-card to access internet) So basically, requirements for a solution for me would be: I'm wondering if it would be possible to use the Huawei as a sort of an "adapter" for Ubiquiti, or would I be better off getting something completely different? We need our internet to be mobile unfortunately, as the office building doesn't have wired internet. I started looking into Ubiquiti, but it seems that they don't have any mobile routers available (as in, something I can stick a sim-card into, and get surfing the web) My issue is, that my current router (Huawei B818) doesn't support NAT Loopback / Hairpinning I've setup our UnRaid server a while back, and everything on that works as expected (after quite a bit of head banging on the wall)
